Q: Is there a minimum hire period?
A: Yes, 4 weeks.
Q: Do you offer discount on multiple hire?
A: Yes, please ring and we can discuss this.
Q: Do you charge for delivery?
A: Yes, our standard delivery fee is £29.99 this fee covers the delivery of the item to you, and the return of the item back to us.
Q: At what time do you deliver?
A: What is best for you: Daytime/Evening, Saturday/Sunday.
We always work with our customers to reach a suitable day & time for delivery.
Q: Do you insure the equipment?
A: Equipment is only insured on the premises of Fitness Store Direct and in transit. It is your responsibility to ensure that your own household or works insurance covers the equipment against all damage risk and theifed whilst in your possession.
Q: When do I pay and How do I pay?
A: Payment for your hire and delivery fees need to be paid in full prior to delivery. We are able to accept all major credit/debit cards through Google Checkout and we also use Paypal payment processing for automated ordering online.
You can also send us a cheque or Postal Order. (Please note that Cheques need to clear before we deliver your item to you).
Q. Do you need a deposit.
A: No. At Fitness Store Direct we do not take a deposit from you.
Q: How does the contract work?
A: The contract begins on the day of delivery, and is based on a 4 week basis.
Q: Do I need a UK bank account?
A: Yes I am sorry we can only do business with people with a UK bank account.
Q: Where do you deliver to?
A: We delivery to:- Northampton, Northamptonshire, Towcester, Kettering, Corby, Market Harborough, Wellingborough, Rushden, Raunds, Rugby, Daventry, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Dunstable, Luton, Bedford & Bedfordshire. All our items are delivered directly by Fitness Store Direct.

Q: How long will delivery take?
A: Usually between 3-5 working days.
Q: Can I keep the equipment for longer than the original hire period?
A: We will contact you prior to the end of your original contract expiry date to see if you wish to extend your contract. If so, you simply make a further credit/debit card payment, Paypal or Cheque payment to us.
Q: Do you carry out credit checks?
A: Yes, we check the electoral roll to ensure that you are residing at the delivery address.
Q: Can you give me advice on my fitness workout?
A: We always recommend that customers consult their doctor as a precautionary measure before undertaking any physical exercise. Fitness Store Direct are unable to give fitness advice.
Q: How do I cancel the hire?
A: Yes. Simply ring us and give 7 days notice or email us.
Q: Do you need any I.D.?
A: Yes, one photo I.D. and one proof of residence these can be emailed to us or posted. Photocopys only please. Upon delivery, we will ask to see two forms of ID to include passport, driver’s licence or utility bill. Also you must sign & return the hire agreement form back to us.
